In this study material “Teaching in Blended Learning Environments ” , it brings me into a very interesting and up-to-date topics to think. The recent two years, the traditional frame of education has impacts a lot, most of the students have experience get into a online lecture and read study material online. It is very different than the traditional face-to-face education. It has many of the advantages and disadvantages. “Blended learning inherently demands a fundamental rethinking of the educational experience and presents a challenge to traditional presentational approaches.” , but it also created a new opportunity to improve the model of education. The online education has constantly progressing globally, it was uncomfortable to fit because it requires new way of accept information and interacts with their instructor and content. Now most of people has adapted to this fresh way of education,
On the other hand, I agreed with the opinion from the reading material, the online education experience and technology can mixed with the traditional frame of education, in order to achieve better education environment. The advantages from online education can be learned at any time without restrictions on time and space, which improves the efficiency of learning, and it can increase the capacity of “classroom” solving the problem of inequality in educational resources. Therefore more and more people will having equal education recourses. In addition, we can use computer artificial intelligence convenience, saves a lot of time to check students’ questions and error rates, efficient to analyze the learning situation of each student, and being targeted to tutor students. But it causes people would not be study together, the lack of experience cooperate with other people in person, and teachers and students may not interact timely. Those are obvious advantages and disadvantages that still exists, “The strength of integrating face-to-face synchronous communication and text-based online asynchronous communication is powerfully complementary for higher educational purposes. ”
