  In education, the most important part is the students. In the face of many economic costs in society, tuition and book costs in college also place a considerable financial burden on students, which cannot be solved by reducing the interest on student loans alone. The impact of economy on students is particularly emphasized at the educational level of society, “For those of us who work in higher Ed, It’s likely that we have been listeners to the link between family income and college enrollment, attendance, To this day, the economic pressures of life have a direct effect on academic performance, “The likelihood of earning a college degree is tied to family income.” There are countless examples of people who are forced to give up their opportunities to study because of the financial burden on their lives. In this trend, more butterfly effects will be considered, as higher education is driven by economic pressures to become a luxury rather than the equity that everyone expects in education.

  Among the advantages of open Pedagogy, it is mentioned that it can help students to greatly reduce the economic burden they face while receiving education. But along the way there are more factors to consider such as information privacy, network conditions and electronic devices for viewing the course material.

  “Build OERs with your students. Though students may be beginners with most of the content in your course, They are often more adept than you at understanding what beginning students need in order to understand the material.” this is I had not think about it,  In OERS, the close connection between students and the material helps to establish better teaching quality, student into the part of the teaching will bring students more engaged in what they learning. Open Pedagogy is still a direction worthy of development and practice, allowing students to have a dialogue with the teaching materials and creating more space for vitality and improvement in education. At the same time, it can reduce the cost of education. “Refocus the academic world on strengthening the public good.”

  If I am a teacher, this article inspired me to have some of the features in the open pedagogy into my daily traditional teaching, such as recording my lecture and helping the students who want to review, or who missed the course. Also, collecting updated feedback and making changes to content material, in order for students to be more engaged , and easier to understand the course.
